FAQ
Plain answers to the questions agencies ask.
Cannot find yours? Ask it on a demo call and we will answer it there, without a sales script.
Pricing and terms
Pricing and terms.
How much does Realist cost?
One flat monthly fee covers every feature, including the landlord portal, with no per-branch charges. A one-off setup fee covers design and migration.
We share the figures on the demo call, once we know what your site needs.
Why don’t you publish your prices?
Because the setup fee depends on your site: how much content you have, which CRM you use and whether you want a bespoke design. The monthly price is the same for everyone, and we tell you both on the first call.
Is there a minimum contract?
No. Terms are rolling monthly. The setup fee covers the work of moving you, so we do not need to tie you in.
Do you charge per branch?
No. Every agency pays the same monthly price whatever its number of branches.
Listings and CRMs
Listings and CRMs.
Which CRMs does Realist work with?
Rex, BLM feeds (including Estates IT and Jupix) and CSV import are live. Street is next, and Alto, Expert Agent and Reapit are planned.
How often do listings update?
Changes are checked every hour and the whole portfolio every night. A sync can also be run on demand.
What happens if a listing goes missing from the feed?
Realist proposes withdrawing it and waits for someone in the office to confirm. Nothing comes off the site on the feed’s say-so alone.
Can we add listings by hand?
Yes. Listings can be added and edited on the site directly, alongside those that arrive from your CRM.
The website
The website.
Can we edit the site ourselves?
Yes. Every page is built from blocks in the WordPress editor, and you can change words, photos and pages without a developer.
Can we keep our domain?
Yes. The site launches on your existing domain, and your email is unaffected.
Will we lose our Google rankings?
Not if old addresses are redirected properly, which is part of every migration we do.
Who owns the site?
You do. Each agency has its own WordPress site, and if you leave we hand over the whole thing with its data.
Leads, privacy and the portal
Leads, privacy and the portal.
Where do leads go?
Every request is saved on your site, then emailed to the addresses you choose. A monthly report counts them, led by valuation requests.
Do we need a cookie banner?
Not by default. A stock Realist site stores nothing on a visitor’s device. If you add analytics, a banner with equal Accept and Reject buttons comes with it.
Is the landlord portal extra?
No. It is included in the monthly price, with no per-landlord charge.
Is the portal secure?
Every document is encrypted, identity records live in separate encrypted vaults, staff use an authenticator app and every action is logged.
