Rex
Your Rex listings on your website, automatically.
Realist connects to Rex through its API. Every listing you publish in Rex appears on your site with its photos, floorplans and EPC, and follows every change you make.
How it connects
Credentials in, listings out.
Rex’s published route for websites is its API, and that is what Realist uses. You enter the credentials once on the Sources tab, where they are stored encrypted, and there is nothing to configure inside Rex itself.
- Reads the version of each listing Rex prepares for websites
- Changes checked every hour, the full portfolio every night
- Unchanged listings skipped, so a routine check takes moments

What comes across
Everything a buyer reads, as you wrote it.
Rex sends the advertised price as words, such as Offers in Excess of £350,000, and Realist keeps those words. A studio reads Studio, not 1-bedroom Studio. Advert text that arrives as one long block is split back into paragraphs.
- Photos, floorplans and the EPC chart
- Rex property types mapped to your own words
- Sold and let listings kept up to date as proof

Questions
Using Rex with Realist.
Do we need to set anything up in Rex?
No portal or feed set-up is needed inside Rex. We need credentials for the integration, which you can create for the purpose and revoke at any time.
How quickly does a change in Rex reach the website?
Within the hour, and immediately if someone presses Sync now. A full comparison runs every night to catch anything a quick check could miss.
What happens when we withdraw a listing in Rex?
Sold and let listings stay published in Rex and update on the site. A listing that disappears from Rex altogether is proposed for withdrawal and waits for someone in the office to confirm it.
Has this been used with a real Rex account?
Yes. The connection was built against the live UK Rex API, and real agency portfolios have been imported through it.
